Another morning session of accupunture - 9:30 to 12:00 - really lovely, relaxing...and it's making me feel terrific! I'm scheduling myself in for once a week, as opposed to my initial 2 times, as that is what feels best at the moment -- otherwise it might feel like overkill! I just can't emphasize enough how much I like the philosophy behind the communual accupunture approach of Hemma (www.hemma.ca) and plus it's just fabulous sessions with Michael Lium-Hall accupuncturist.
Last night, Paddy and I stayed up late, trying to make a floor plan for our projected Lasqueti house, so that we know how much wood and materials we'll need. Yesterday, I called Windsor Plywood in Parksville, who deliver for free to the Lasqueti barges (Lasqueti Island is accessed by passenger-only ferry, by personal boat or by barge). Lumber is cheap right now, due to the weak American economy. This benefits us tremendously! So, today, I went and bought a portable drafting table, and squares and grid paper, so we can sketch it out all to scale! I wonder if the last time I went to Lasqueti, I hadn't been on the juicefeast, if I would still have gotten so inspired to return?! Being so open surely had something to do with it!
(I've attached some photos of Lasqueti)
